SIX! Peter Siddle to David Miller. Full toss, to leg on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over deep mid wicket for 6 runs. Miller dispatches another one over cow corner for a maximum, but it won't be enough for the Hurricanes. The Strikers sneak home by ten runs. They were in total control for most of that chase, but a David Miller special nearly snatched it for Hobart. Peter Siddle held his nerve in the final over to defend 21 runs off the last with ease. An excellent display by Adelaide, as Travis Head came into the runs with his superb 79. Wes Agar stood out with the ball, getting four wickets. That win means the Strikers move up to second place on 13 points. The Hurricanes remain in seventh on seven points.Stay with us for the second of today's BBL double header. The Heat take on the Renegades in just over an hour.

OUT! Caught. Wes Agar to Clive Rose. Off cutter short, outside off stump backing away cutting, in the air uncontrolled to third man, by Siddle. Rose walks outside leg to give himself room, wants to thrash it over the third man fence, but doesn't get enough behind it. Scythed away, Siddle runs round, and keeps his composure to hang onto the chance. Four for Agar!

FOUR! Wes Agar to Clive Rose. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control past long off for 4 runs. Quality stroke from Rose. Mid off is up in the circle, so he lofts it over that man with ease for four.

OUT! Caught. Wes Agar to George Bailey. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep square leg, by Short. Bailey had to go for it, but his timing wasn't quite there. Totally mis-hit, and the man in the deep jogs in to take a comfortable catch. The Hurricanes have a lot to do from here.

FOUR! Rashid Khan to David Miller. Leg spinner back of a length, to leg on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Miller tried to get this over the rope, doesn't quite get the distance on it, but his placement is good. Out of reach of the fielder on the boundary edge for a one bounce four.

OUT! Caught. Peter Siddle to Ben McDermott. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on, by Salt. That's a big scalp to get for the Strikers. McDermott was striking them well, but ends up holing out to long on. Not quite out the middle, bat turned in the hands, and Salt gobbles up the chance in the deep.
